A Benefit of Partnering with The Period Pantry

The Money Honey Co.

Money doesn't have to be intimidating, and neither does the woman who helps you master it.

A financial wellness coaching practice founded by Leanne Listman that meets women where they are — sliding-scale, trauma-informed money-confidence literacy and coaching for women in crisis and transition.

Dignity + Dollars

Confidence, one small step at a time.

Why it matters

Why it's a benefit of working with The Period Pantry

Through the Pantry's Dignity & Dollars programming, shelter partners already receive pro bono financial-literacy sessions — meaning organizations that partner with The Period Pantry also give the women they serve a trusted financial wellness coach who's already in the room.

No cold calls. No judgment. Just a person who understands that financial confidence is part of feeling safe and free.

Dignity means both — a woman shouldn't have to choose between a pad and financial support.

From the founder

Why I started The Money Honey Co.

The Money Honey Co. logo
I started The Period Pantry because I grew up watching women make impossible choices. I started The Money Honey Co. so money would never be the reason a woman stays somewhere unsafe, misses an opportunity, or feels small. You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to start — and I'll be right there with you.
— Leanne Listman, Founder & Financial Wellness Coach

Good questions

Answers, without the fine print

Do I need to know anything about money first?

Not a thing. You don't need to bring anything but yourself. We start exactly where you are.

What if I can't afford it?

Sessions are sliding-scale, and Dignity & Dollars coaching is free for shelter and recovery partners.

Is this like having a financial advisor?

No. This is educational coaching. We help you build confidence, skills, and a plan — we don't manage investments or give investment or tax advice.

Can we meet online?

Yes. Virtual sessions are available, so you can get support no matter where you are.
